Located at 2400 SE 3rd Ave, Amarillo, TX 79104, Rick's Radiator & Auto Repair operates as a radiator shop serving Amarillo in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 amβ5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Amarillo is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Amarillo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I took my car in and Mike was able to figure out the problem and give me an estimate. I left my car with him and within a couple hours he was done! My car is running great!

This guy is a thief. He was paid in advance to put a motor in a diesel pick up. He has since removed the transmission for no reason at all. I think itβs because he sold it to another customer. He has been avoiding my phone calls as my truck still sits at his junkyard with no motor and no transmission. I have a receipt where he was paid $10,000 in cash over a year ago. He may be able to fix little tiny basic things. Anything bigger than that he is out of his league. I have contacted my attorney to sue.
